Kay Sara ist Schauspielerin und Aktivistin in Brasilien. Sie gehört dem indigenen Volk der Tariana des 3. Clans an und ist in Amazonien aufgewachsen. Sie begreift ihre performative Kunst als Mittel, um für eine angemessene Repräsentation und die Rechte der Indigenen in Brasilien zu kämpfen. Tatiana Heide ist eine Autorin und Schauspielerin aus São Paulo, Brazilien. Seit 2015 lebt sie in Berlin und hat mit tak-Mitglied Stefanie Aehnelt einige Produktionen realisiert. Wir sind sehr dankbar für ihre Unterstützung dieses FERNKONtakTs, vor allem mit Hintergrundinformationen und bei der Übersetzung!

That Anna Popa leads a high-profile institution with verve, intuition and staggering efficiency is obvious after two minutes of speaking with her. She does this in Sfantu Gehorghe a beautiful town in a region of Romania which is 80% Hungarian speaking and the home to many minorities, among them a significant Roma component.

Ils ont chacun fondé leur propre festival, formant des structures pour la danse, la performance et la musique dans leur pays, coopérant entre eux, avec beaucoup d'autres et, depuis dix ans maintenant, avec le kainkollektiv - qui fait partie de la direction artistique collective du tak.

In der dritten Ausgabe hören wir von einer wichtigen Stimme im Libanon.
Hananes Soloperformance JOGGING war 2018 als Teil des Berliner Theatertreffens und im Juni 2019 bei uns im tak zu Gast. Darin joggt die Hauptfigur am frühen Morgen durch Beirut und beobachtet die Veränderungen der Stadt. Das tut Hanane Hajj Ali heute auch, in einer Gegenwart, die nicht nur vom Virus bestimmt ist, sondern seit Oktober 2019 durch die sehr musikalische libanesische Revolution in einem sehr komplizierten Problemgeflecht. Hanane erklärt es uns und entwirft globale Zukunftshoffnungen.

On the 8th of April we celebrate WORLD ROMA DAY as topic of the second issue of FERNKONtakT - LONG DISTANCE CONtakT #2 WORLD ROMA DAY: we meet and welcome the Flamenco dancer Belén Maya, the theorist and filmmaker José „Pepe“ Heredia, the theatre director and art historian Miguel Angel Vargas Rubio and the painter Manolo Gómez. We celebrate together with 10 million members of Europes largest minority - Sinti, Roma, Manouche and Gitanos - their National Day, by discussing the artistic and political impulses that come from this celebration. Without the crisis of Corona, which we are facing now, our guests of this issue of FERNKONtakT would have travelled from Rome, Barcelona, Sevilla and Granada and would be with us at tak Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg Berlin co-creating our RomAtak Festival - which is not cancelled but postponed and now it will take place from the 2.-6. September.

Şirvan Akan ist die Autorin des Theaterstückes “Zbam!”, das in der Regie von Selin Işcan und Anna Koch im Januar im tak Premiere feierte. Für den 29. März hatten wir uns auf eine weitere Vorstellung gefreut… Aus ihrer Wohnung in Istanbul erzählt Şirvan uns über das Stück und seine Entstehung und spricht über die gegenwärtige Situation aus ihrer Perspektive.
Şirvan Akan is the author of the play “Zbam!”, that came to premiere in January in tak, directed by Selin Işcan and Anna Koch. We were looking forward to present it again on the 29th of March… From her flat in Istanbul Şirvan tells us about the play and its formation and talks about the current situation from her perspective.
