Sex und AIDS haben viele Menschen getötet, viele meiner Freunde. Der Ausdruck trägt nicht mehr die gleiche festliche Atmosphäre wie vor Jahren. Manchmal erinnert er mich sogar an einen Totentanz. Ich verbrachte die meiste Zeit meines Lebens zwischen Idealismus und Hedonismus, zwischen Egoismus und Eigenliebe, zwischen Liebe und Sex, zwischen Chaos und Transparenz. Heute stellt sich die Frage: Wie kann ich gleichzeitig unverantwortlich sein und Verantwortung übernehmen? Ich schreibe über die Dinge, die ich nicht verstehen kann. Die Monologe in diesem Stück sind meine öffentliche Reflexion über die Konflikte in meinem Leben. Sie sind ein Versuch, die unangenehmen Züge meines Selbst einzufangen und sie der Öffentlichkeit nahe zu bringen. „Sex, Drugs and Rock’n‘ Roll" ist ein provokanter Titel. Er verspricht Spaß und aufregende Erlebnisse. Wir alle streben nach Zufriedenheit. Auch die dunkle Seite ist präsent. Ich hoffe, es gefällt Ihnen."

"The phrase "sex, drugs, rock and roll" has been tattooed on my life for the past twenty-five years. For a long time, I even thought that "sex, drugs, rock and roll" was life itself. In fact, the opposite was true. Sex and AIDS have killed many people, many of my friends. The phrase "sex, drugs, rock and roll" does not carry the same festive atmosphere as it did fifteen years ago. Sometimes it even reminds me of a dead dance. I spent most of my life stuck between idealism and hedonism, between selfishness and self-love, between love and sex, between chaos and transparency. How can I be both irresponsible and take responsibility? I write about those things that I cannot understand. The monologues in Sex, Drugs, Rock and Roll are my public reflection on the conflicts in my life. They are an attempt to capture the unpleasant features of myself and bring them out to the public. "Sex, drugs, rock and roll" is a provocative title. It promises fun and exciting experiences. We all strive for contentment. The dark side is also present. I hope you like it."
