And So If Again… wurde bisher in Rio, New York und Vilnius aufgeführt.
Soloausstellungen (Auswahl): PARSE, New Orleans, US (2016), M.1 Arthur Boskamp Stiftung Hohenlockstedt, GER (2013); Halle für Kunst Lüneburg, GER (2012), Kunstverein in Hamburg, GER (2008). Gruppenausstellungen (Auswahl): CAC, Vilnius, LIT (2017), Despina, Rio de Janeiro,BRA (2017), Y Gallery, New York, US (2015), basis Frankfurt e.V., Frankfurt, GER (2013); Swell Gallery, San Francisco, US (2011); Yvon Lambert Gallery, New York, US (2007); Musée d’Art Moderne, Paris, FR (2003). Currently he lives and works in Berlin.

This is a one-to-one experience between performer and visitor. The street becomes a laboratory for interacting in the present moment. At the same time we are invited to have a changed attention to our everyday surroundings.
The title, an excerpt from Brazilian poet Antônio Gonçalves Dias, points to the place of the work’s creation, Rio de Janeiro, where Oliver Bulas worked on the significance of bodies and performative expressions in public space as well as social transgressions.
And So If Again... has been performed so far in Rio de Janeiro, New York and Vilnius.
The performance is one visitor only.
Please write an email to karten@tak-berlin.de in order to book a time slot.
Oliver Bulas studied biology and art in Germany and In the United States. He creates ‘constructed situations', in which the visitor immerses. He uses performance and he works in public space. Bulas is wondering if the public space is a place where differences clash and are negotiated. A place where maybe a short flash of social space can incidentally shine up as a utopian moment. He was a postgraduate researcher at Jan Van Eyck Academie, Maastricht, NL. Solo exhibitions (selection): PARSE, New Orleans, US (2016), M.1 Arthur Boskamp Stiftung Hohenlockstedt, GER (2013); Halle für Kunst Lüneburg, GER (2012), Kunstverein in Hamburg, GER (2008). Group exhibitions (selection): CAC, Vilnius, LIT (2017), Despina, Rio de Janeiro,BRA (2017), Y Gallery, New York, US (2015), basis Frankfurt e.V., Frankfurt, GER (2013); Swell Gallery, San Francisco, US (2011); Yvon Lambert Gallery, New York, US (2007); Musée d’Art Moderne, Paris, FR (2003). And So If Again I Would Play the Boré; What Source From Steep Rock Is Springing, That Goes Seething, Quivering and Whining, Which the Rage is Erasing, All This Is Not, As They Trickle Down, To the Sounds of the Boré
