Intermission. Pausa. Récreation. A lua o pauză. وقفة . Auch das tak Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg ehrt diese Pause. Und doch braucht dieser Zustand aktive Beobachtung und Dokumentation.
Das tak hätte in diesen Monaten ein Festival, Labore, Kooperationen und andere Vorstellungen von und mit Künstler*innen u.a. aus der Türkei, aus Spanien, Rumänien, Italien, Libanon, Palästina, Kamerun, Madagaskar und Finnland auf der Bühne präsentiert.
Der KONtakT besteht über die Distanz sogar verstärkt und zu sagen gibt es viel, und wahrzunehmen und zu teilen - digital. Das tak lädt nun ein, unser distanzüberwindendes Gespräch mit den Zeitgenoss*innen zu verfolgen.
#4 Njara Rasolomanana, Madagskar und Zora Snake, Kamerun
Njara Rasolomanana aus Madagskar und Zora Snake aus Kamerun sind Tänzer, Choreographen und Macher. Sie haben je ihr eigenes Festival gegründet, bilden Strukturen für Tanz, Performance und Musik in ihren Ländern, kooperieren miteinander, mit vielen anderen und seit zehn Jahren auch mit dem kainkollektiv - einem Teil der Kollektiven Künstlerischen Leitung des tak.
Wegen der Reisebeschränkungen sitzen beide seit Mitte März in Europa fest. Aus Nordrhein-Westfalen, wo sie mit Fabian Lettow, Mirjam Schmuck und vielen anderen internationalen Kolleg*innen am Projekt EST-CE UN HUMAIN arbeiteten, haben sie es nach Helsinki und Brüssel geschafft. Von dort sprechen sie mit uns über ihr verändertes Leben und ihre Arbeitspläne, aber noch wichtiger über die momentan vergessenen und extra-zutagetretenden Krisen - der Hunger auf der Welt, das Schicksal der fliehenden Menschen, die Abhängigkeit afrikanischer Staaten von Frankreich, das Verhältnis von Europa und Afrika überhaupt - sowie darüber, daß Kamerun seine Bürger*innen nicht einreisen läßt und daß der Präsident Madagaskars eine Medizin gegen den Corona-Virus entwickelt hat, dem aber die westliche Welt mißtraut.
Nichts kann diese beiden aufhalten, auch diese absurde und niederschmetternde Situation nicht, aus ihnen spricht die Hoffnung für ‘ein besseres Morgen’.

During these months, the tak would have presented a festival, laboratories, cooperations and other performances by and with artists among others from Turkey, Spain, Romania, Italy, Lebanon, Palestine, Cameroon, Madagascar, Finland on stage.
The CONtakT exists even more over the distance and there is a lot to say, and to perceive and share - digitally. The tak now invites you to follow our distance-transcending conversation with our contemporaries.
#4 Njara Rasolomanana, Madagscar and Zora Snake, Cameroon
Njara Rasolomanana from Madagscar and Zora Snake from Cameroon are dancers, choreographers and makers. They have each founded their own festival, constantly form new structures for dance, performance and music in their countries, cooperate with each other, with many others and, for ten years now, with kainkollektiv - part of the collective artistic direction of tak theatre.
Due to travel restrictions, both have got stuck in Europe since mid-March. From North Rhine-Westphalia, where they worked with Fabian Lettow, Mirjam Schmuck and many other international colleagues* on the project IS THIS A HUMAN, they made it to Helsinki and Brussels. From there they talk to us about their changed lives and their work plans, but even more importantly about the crises that are currently forgotten or extra-visible - world hunger, the fate of refugees, the dependence of African states on France, the relationship between Europe and Africa in general - as well as about the fact that Cameroon does not let its citizens enter the country and that the president of Madagascar has developed a medicine against the corona virus, which is distrusted by the Western world.
Nothing can stop these two, not even this absurd and devastating situation, they have a concrete hope for 'a better tomorrow'.

Au cours de ces mois, le tak aurait présenté sur scène un festival, des laboratoires, des coopérations et d'autres performances par et avec des artistes de Turquie, d'Espagne, de Roumanie, d'Italie, du Liban, de Palestine, du Cameroun, de Madagascar, de Finlande etc.
Le CONtakT existe à distance et encore plus fort, car il y a beaucoup à dire, à percevoir et à partager - numériquement.

Njara Rasolomanana de Madagascar et Zora Snake du Cameroun sont des danseurs, des chorégraphes et des créatreurs. Ils ont chacun fondé leur propre festival, formant des structures pour la danse, la performance et la musique dans leur pays, coopérant entre eux, avec beaucoup d'autres et, depuis dix ans maintenant, avec le kainkollektiv - qui fait partie de la direction artistique collective du tak.
En raison des restrictions de voyage, tous deux sont bloqués en Europe depuis au milieu du mois de mars. De la Rhénanie du Nord-Westphalie, où ils ont travaillé avec Fabian Lettow, Mirjam Schmuck et de nombreux autres collègues internationaux sur le projet EST-CE UN HUMAIN, ils se sont rendus à Helsinki et à Bruxelles. De là, ils nous parleront de leurs vies changées et de leurs plans de travail, mais surtout des crises actuellement oubliées et extra-visibles - la faim dans le monde, le destine des réfugiés, la dépendance des États africains vis-à-vis de la France, les relations entre l'Europe et l'Afrique en général - ainsi que sur le fait que le Cameroun ne laisse pas ses citoyens entrer dans le pays et que le président de Madagascar a développé un médicament contre le Corona virus, dont le monde occidental se méfie.
Rien ne peut arrêter ces deux-là, pas même cette situation absurde et dévastatrice, ils sont convaincus de l'espoir d'un “demain meilleur".
